Oh Dave. The things that crop up when randomly clicking from link to link and how some things so far apart can be so interconnected in different ways.
I was on Facebook when I saw a blog being shared by many of my friends. A well written, accurate blog by Mike Sivier. Here is the link, it’s well worth a read: http://mikesivier.wordpress.com/2013/09/12/the-lies-the-cost-the-hardship-the-price-we-all-pay-for-iain-duncan-smith/
Good grief Dave, when you offer Ministers jobs as Secretaries of State for certain areas shouldn’t you at least give them an assessment to see whether they have basic maths and English? Because this man clearly needs to take his socks off to count further than 10. How can a person say one day that the Government will need to write off £34m, and then the select committee gets told it’s more like £161m? I thought his £39 brekkie and his claim for underpants were a bit sh!tty but this is downright criminal. Almost like
Freud oh I mean fraud! Maybe the UN should investigate?
After reading that blog I saw this link in the Daily Mirror: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/mps-expenses-top-10-most-2266854 It was talking about IPSA publishing the MP’s expenses for the last 12months. It also had a ‘Top 10 most ridiculous claims’. You Dave are number 9 with your Wisteria claim in 2009. It states the following… “David Cameron’s Wisteria. Our own Prime Minister – who was leader of the opposition at the time – wasn’t exempt from the 2009 scandal, repaying £680 he had claimed for repairs to his constituency home, including removing Wisteria from his chimney”
So I looked up wisteria on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisteria and found some uncanny resemblances between Wisteria and Mr Duncan Smith (Green is Wisteria – Blue is IDS)…
Wisteria vines climb by twining their stems either clockwise or counterclockwise round any available support. IDS clings on like a frickin leach too.
The seeds are produced in pods similar to those of Laburnum, and, like the seeds of that genus, are poisonous. I’d compare that similarity to IDS’s ‘seeds’commonly known as Esther McVey, Mark Hoban, Steve Webb and Lord Freud.
Wisteria is an extremely hardy plant that is considered an invasive species in many parts of the US, especially the Southeast, due to its ability to overtake and choke out other native plant species. Bit like how he’s killing the poor and disabled then?
Another reason for failure to bloom can be excessive fertilizer. He’s not ‘blooming’ in the eyes of the public because he talks a lot of ‘fertiliser’.
Wisteria allowed to grow on houses can cause damage to gutters, downspouts, and similar structures. And ‘spare’ bedrooms.
So Dave, it’s seems you, yet again have a serious case of Wisteria on your chimney and you need to get it removed. This time, unlike 2009, the public won’t mind you putting this on your expenses claim. Now how much is a P45 these days?
